About the Program

The Village of Morton passed a referendum authorizing the Village to seek lower electricity rates for eligible residential and small commercial retail customers by establishing an ‘opt-out’ electric aggregation program.

Program Details

An aggregation program agreement was entered into as of February 24, 2016, by and between the Village of Morton and Homefield Energy as they were chosen as the Village’s electric supplier.  The Village of Morton recently renegotiated that agreement to extend through June 2022.
