Invitation to Bid on the Sale of a Used Fire Truck
The Village of Morton is accepting sealed bids for the sale of a 1998 E-One fire engine. The unit is being sold in an AS-IS condition. The unit drives, runs and pumps normally and was in service until recently; but has some isolated body damage and a known issue with a frame component.
Sealed bids are due by July 1, 2023 at 5:0oPM and will be publicly opened at Noon on July 2, 2023. Bids should be clearly marked as a “Sealed Bid” and can be mailed to, or dropped off during normal business hours at, the following location:

The unit can also be inspected by appointment by calling the number listed above.
The Village of Morton reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding process. There is a $2500 reserve price on the sale of the unit. If the reserve is not met, the unit will be re-bid at a later date.
