Water Utility

The Water Distribution Department of the Village of Morton consists of three field technicians under the direction of the Superintendant of Water Distribution.  The Superintendant of Water Distribution is Paul Uhlman who has over 20 years of experience in the water distribution field.

The Water Distribution Department is responsible for installation, replacement and maintenance of water mains, valves, hydrants, services and facilities attributed to the delivery of water from the water towers to the customer property.

The Superintendent of Water Distribution also acts as the Assistant Superintendant of Gas Distribution.  The Water Distribution Department cross-trains with the Gas Distribution Department.  This allows the two departments to work as one team during times of emergency effectively doubling the number of qualified personnel.  The two departments also share building facilities, equipment and on call responsibilities.
