Public Hearing - Plan Commission

The Morton Plan Commission will conduct a Public Hearing on Monday, September 22, 2014, at the Freedom Hall, 349 W. Birchwood, at 7:00 P.M., to consider a zoning amendment for the following described premises:

Petition No. 14-10ZA:  Subject property is located at 180 S. Detroit Avenue; Industrial Lot 2 in the Village of Morton, as shown by Plat recorded in Plat recorded in Plat Book “V”, Pages 93 and 94, situated in the County of Tazewell, in the State of Illinois.  And All of the abandoned Norfolk and Western ROW lying in the North one-half of said ROW and being between the east line of Lot 2 as shown on Plat recorded in Plat Book “V”, Page 93 in the Recorder’s Office of Tazewell County, Illinois, extended south and the easterly line of Detroit Street, a public road in Morton, projected southwesterly, situated in the County of Tazewell, in the State of Illinois.  Requested zoning change is from B-3 to I-1.
